I'd say for me it was Arachnophobia, The Blair Witch Project, and When a Stranger Calls Back.

Strangers I think it's called.. (not the old one) the newer one, with the people that put on porcelain doll masks and shit!

Movies have never scared me much, with the exception of the classic Dracula and Wolfman movies because I was just a kid when I saw them.

Some books on the other hand, have scared the living hell out of me. I remember staying awake until dawn the first time I read Salem's Lot.

Movies don't really scare me. They just make me jumpy. Which I have basically become immune to now. Horror movies are predictable and cheesy. Thrillers are more likely to give me the chills.

I think it depends how old you are. Movies that scared me at a kid are almost laughable now. I did see some Rob Zombie movie about 5 years ago that was a bit over the top with gore. Not sure it scared me but made me grossed out. I do like horror movies though. I seem to like Zombie movies for some odd reason.

When I was around six or seven, It scared the hell out of me...but now it's just kinda funny.

The first time I saw the Grudge it was dark and I was alone and that really freaked me out. Lately though, like the last few years I haven't been creeped out by any scary movies. I really kinda miss it.

I have several:

Psycho (Hitchcock)

Les Diaboliques (Clouzot)

The Innocents (Clayton)

Most recent movie to scare me was The 4th Kind. It's about alien abduction and it's based on true events. Scared the shit outta me.

I hate scary movies but Im addicted. Not modern scary films, its just gore. I think only film that genuinely scared me was DARKNESS FALLS. Scared the crap outta me.

That DOES look kind of scary. Oh great, now I'm gonna be afraid of owls.

Not really sure which one was "the scariest" -- but THE HILLS HAVE EYES had my blood going. I think it was the music mainly -- and maybe because I was watching it in the total dark at like 2am..!oops!

I didn't sleep for hours after I watched The Shining. Fortunately, my cat stayed in my room the night of and I eventually managed to sleep, but it took a while.

When I was younger, I watched Halloween and had nightmares for the next two weeks after that.

The Scream series is the only thing that scares me. All other horror movies are just cheesy, especially the Saw series, gory but not scary. I await patiently for Scream 4.
