"Where am I?"

Did you ever wake up, and have O2 running and an IV, and say "where am I" ? Then wonder "how did I get here?" It certainly is scary. I woke up in the hospital this morning at 5 am. Last thing I remember is saying goodnight to Millzy on yahoo and that I was exhausted. It was unusual since it was just a few minutes past 10 pm. I remember goint to the bedroom, putting on the tv, and turning down my bed. I then went to the bathroom.............and woke up in the hospital.

I still do not know what happened, the blood work is fine, although my blood sugar and sodium levels were low. They gave me dextrose and sodium chloride IV. I have to go back to see my doctor at 10 am tomorrow morning.

I also do not know who found me, the ambulance company said it was a guy who called the ambulance and when they got there, he dissapeared. Whoever it was found me in the batroom passed out and called the ambulance when he could not arouse me.

It is all a mystery and I will see the ambulance driver this afternoon when he is on again to get a description of the caller.

Are you home now? Hopefully you weren't being burgled or anything. Although if you were, it was awfully sporting of the thief to call an ambulance.

Noticed you signed off a little early and had mentioned you were tired and would probably go to bed a little earlier.Thank God everything is okay-that is some way to wake up.Could imagine how puzzled you must have been all of a sudden finding yourself being treated in the hospital.I know you have mentioned you are hypoglycemic,just hope you take care of yourself and this doesn't happen again.


How did the caller know you had passed out?Thank God someone was able to alert the hospital to send an ambulance to your home,but that is a little mysterious.Anyway,I'm so glad that you're okay now,Dynk!

I reread the post and noticed the guy had found you in the bathroom passed out.I just got so stunned I had previously hadn't noticed that.Luis or Justin,perhaps?

I found out my mystery man is Justin. He had just decided to stop by as my lights were still on. He figured we could have a quicky. He said he left after he the ambulance called cause he had to get home early. He said he rang the door bell and no answer but he found the door still unlocked. So he came in and called my name then found me.

I thought so.You hadn't turned off the lights,locked the door and it appeared to him you were up,just very good timing it didn't happen in the middle of the night,when it wouldn't have been noticed.I don't know how critical it would have gotten if Justin hadn't arrived so soon after you passed out,thank God he arrived there when he did.When will you get back the results of all your tests?

Yeah, that happened to me. I was talking with an Aussie guy I just met about 2 minutes before and drank 2 bottles of vodka and woke up 8 hours later @ 10 PM in the hospital with an IV, covered in puke, and with no recollection of any of the lost time. I left the hopsital still completely fucked and wandered the ~20 minute walk back home. :/ You HONESTLY don't want to know how bad my hangover was the next day.

Good news. Luis will be staying here with me for the rest of the week. He says it is so I won't be alone, but we all know it's because he likes my cooking and the sex.

I am sure you will also ask your doctors what preventative measures you need to take lessen the risk that this will happen again.

He seems to be a very nice and caring individual - is he the person who happens to be HIV+? I ask only as that might be part of the reason he is such a caring person.

And how thoughtful of Luis to spend the week - what ever the reasons by be.

You are correct Michael, he is the one who is HIV+ and such a sweet guy. I went to the mall today to hug him and kiss him for coming over last night.
