I picked John Legend. I don't know if he's my favorite of all-time but he's the best on that list. Although Brian can sing his ass off...but he also tends to oversing which is okay but in moderation! ^_^

My favorite isn't listed, which is D'Angelo. I love his music. I'll admit to buying Voodoo because of that video he did. I'm sure you guys know which video I'm referring to. :-) But surprisingly, I found that CD to be amazing. I hope his James River album turns out to be just as good.

Why isn't Luther Vandross listed? Just because he passed away doesn't mean his music is forgotten. That man wrote and sung classics. His music will still be played ten years from now. I don't think you can say that about Omarion, MH, Lloyd, Mario or any of these other young packaged "singers". Just my two cents.

Considering that most of them are really Pop singers. I am gonna have to go with Maxwell!

ROFL I agree, some of these men are the equivalent to Beyonce` as far as the genre they are in but people will say otherwise because they are black. Maxwell is a great singer I hope he gets more shine, I will forever be in love with his cover of Kate Bush's this Womans work.

Sam Cooke, Al Green, and Stevie Wonder are personal favorites of mine. I don't consider the Ushers and Chris Browns R&B artists.....they sing pop music to me. Van Hunt, D'Angelo, and Dwele makes what I consider R&B/Soul music......JUST MY OPINION

Marvin Gaye would be my first choice, but I also have Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and Smokey Robinson on CD or vinyl. I've actually captured some of my vinyl to the computer, but not all that I want. I'm not familiar with most of the names on the list to choose from.

Prince, Marvin gaye, Usher, mario, Ne- Yo, MJ, John Legend, i cant pick just one, but if i had to id pick "Prince"

Mario Hands Down. Great Music, Great Voice, Great Looking, Nice Butt. Best Of All, He Is Actually A Great Vocalist.

Where's Luther? Barry? Lionel? Etc.

Half those guys are not even R&B. They are hip hop which is completely different.

Thats Why There Is A an Option To Pick "Other" Meaning If The thread Creator Accidentaly Forgot one or two Prolific R&B Singers you Could Pick "Other"
