I was a huge fan of "Prince-chicks". I loved Jill Jones, Sheila E. and especially Wendy & Lisa. I still love Wendy & Lisa's work. W & L are one of my all-time favorite artists.

it's funny.....they were so raunch back then, especially Vanity 6 and Apollonia 6 and to an extent Sheila E. but compared to what's out there today they are quite tame.

Vocally, none of them were great except Wendy and Lisa and Jill Jones and of course Sheena but she was out doing her thing long before Prince became popular.

Those power-hungry "career women" of the 1980s that loved to walk down long hallways wearing boots or high heels and listen to the echo of their power all the way down to the end of the hall. And they pointed in the air as they were talking. Those ladies were a trip.
