It seems like members here like to single some JUBers and be rude en EVERY thread they make.

For example this guy http://www.justusboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=185650, in each thread he makes (and clearly his first language is NOT english) the same smartasses post rude comments. If you are not going to add to the discussion then shut the fuck up

But you know we do love you like a younger brother Lugus!

I'm not sure that some of the questions related to the translation as much as the bafflement over how to answer the question being asked.

I think it's easier being nice than it is to be mean. In my opinion I also think this thread is just a tad rude. You should PM the person you have beef with.

Ok... granted his English isn't the greatest... but even if you try to debate him on the topics he raises, especially his use of over-generalizations, he gets upset and even less coherent....

I think his topics are interesting but he makes such little sense that it's difficult to even begin a sound argument with him...

As for the original poster of this thread ...Your English is superb... but the poster of the other thread ...he lives in an English speaking country...

Remember

We are on an internet forum

People are ruder because they can hide behind their monitors

And the real life rude people just become ruder.

Unfortunate, but true.

i think it is not a question of singlingly someone out for their English skills but rather that often this poster posts such convoluted threads that it is quite difficult to gather what the point is he is making. i am not sure whether it is a problem with the use of language as it is some difficulty in a clarity of thinking with the topic he is posting about.

i think if the individual involved would carefully re-read what he has written he might be able to clarify his thoughts so that they flow in a more logical manner.

my comments towards his posting were not aimed at his English skills and they were about the extensive generalities and categorical statements he had made, which makes it most difficult to reply to.

i might just add that i think you do superb with your English skills even though we sometimes do not agree on a given topic or thread.;)

Lugus, there's a whole history going back months with this guy in this forum.

At first people tried to help him be more articulate, but as time has gone on he just posts crazier and crazier threads.

And he rarely ever responds to anyone, even when they sincerely try to engage him in dialogue.

So, I guess he just kind of wore out his welcome. It happens.

It isn't really about English being his second language.

To my knowledge, some people in Canada do not HAVE to call english as his language (ahem, Quebec)

Your sorta right... Canada is a bilingual country it has 2 official languages...English and French.... however a vast majority of the country are English speaking... everyone learns French in school... the same goes for Quebec.

If you go to Montreal most people speak English... Failure to learn both languages shows irresponsibility and ignorance. Considering that if he were to travel to any other part of Canada most people would be more fluent in English and in most of the big cities things are written in both languages.

ok he's canadian no reason his english is so bad
but then my french could be better

and it not nice to pick on people who are not here to defend themselves

So why then don´t you reply in French???

I agree with everyone here. It isn't an attack on his english skills, but his posting style. He uses generalities as though they are real truth. If you try and debate with him he a) ignores you; or b) comes back with more blanket statements treated as truth. It's frustrating trying to have a serious debate with him. So, people just treat his posts like a joke because you can't take them seriously anymore - he's seen to this.

I suggest looking in his profile under threads he's started to get a taste of what he's really like, then come back here and respond.

Wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school... I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy...

You don't even go to this school...
