I will admit I watch a ton of porn! As much as I love gay porn I still appreciate the site of a hot young woman being fucked, so I watch a lot of straight porn also.

One thing I have noticed is that you rarely see guys wearing cock rings in straight porn. Whereas in gay porn, cock rings are very abundant. I wonder why that is?
 
Guys in straight porn don't have trouble staying hard. They are actually aroused (with the help of ED drugs too of course) for a good duration of the shoot. And since they are actually aroused, the shoot lengths tend to be much shorter than the typical gay porn shoot, where most of the men aren't turned on, so they need additional help to stay hard for the longer shoots (plus the ED). That, plus gay porn consumers are satisfied with whatever crap studios give them as opposed to straight porn where the consumer dictates what studios should make and what they'd pay for.

I would think that would be obvious? Most of the guys in gay porn simply aren't into what they do. And that, plus the long hours, the stop and go, the posing, the 100s of condoms that they replace every take. It's just not a sexy experience on most gay porn sets. This is different from straight porn where they have long shots of continuous sex, few cuts, no condoms to replace every other take, the men are actually into what they're doing, and not for the money that they're making, which is really just chump change for the guys in str8 porn. None of them do it for the money in str8 porn.

Actually the reason there are no cock rings in straight porn is that they would draw more attention to the male actors. Straight porn isnt about the guys, it's about the girls. Anything that gets in the way of that gets removed from set or edited out. Ever notice how condoms just magically appear on the actors, rarely is there footage of them putting the things on?
Same reason: focus on the guy with no girl in sight.
