I don't know if you folk know it, but "wigger" is an extremely offensive word to a great many people. I would not use it.
 
o good lord, why does someone have to freak out about everything. i know "caucasian thugs" if you would prefer that, and they have no problem with it, nor do any black people i know. so im sorry if that offended u so much that you couldnt keep it to yourself. so does anyone have any pictures of white thugs?

because to some of us this is very offensive. I acknowledge that this term might not be offensive to some and perhaps for some of your private circles of friends such terms might be used because the intent is known and is not meant in a malicious way. However, in a public forum where you feel you have the right to use this word, we feel we have a right to tell you that it is offensive.
 
im not gonna say anything except, i agree with you loosenup . they chose to take it offensively wich is why they were offended by that term
 
And if someone calls you a fag, and you get offended, it's entirely your fault.

You know, a word is a word and you choose to attach whatever kind of connotation you want to it.

However, why would you take the chance of using that particular word if it would have even the slightest offensive meaning attached to it for some people when other words aptly suffice?

JUB is part of the "PC Crowd" because the word "Nigger" is banned from these boards (in contexts other than I am using here i.e. linguistically.)

Therefore, it could be argued, why not ban the "extension" of that word, "Wigger" (meaning White Nigger, one who copies mannerisms, slang, and fashions stereotypically associated with African Americans; especially in relation to hip hop culture.)

This thread is called "Wiggers??? Pics???"

I bet if I started a thread called "Niggers??? Pics???" it would be removed immediately.

At first sight, this does seem hypocritical, but on the other hand, I suspect JUB would argue that everyone is aware of the N word, whereas the W word is fairly esoteric. Even intelligent and worldly posters like ozguy confessed (in his post below) "Never heard the term till now (had to google it to find out what you were referring to.)"
 
Why don't you just google it? For gods sake, google every enquiry from now on before asking for help online.

good lord im so sorry i started this thread. thank you to all of the intelligent people who realize that i didnt mean anything malicious, becus it is...just a word. and to all of the ignorant politically correct police, cant you just spare everyone and make another thread where you can complain all you want and no one will have to listen. so if anyone would like to put pics of "white thugs" up here, it would be greatly appreciated...thank you!!
