So I watched the premier tonight (I never got to it online). It was impressed. It will be interesting to see where it goes. They have a great group of characters, not the usuals we've seen in the past cartoons. I like they included Domino witht he Brotherhood and I also like that they are not all kids. There are characters that are younger (Iceman & Kitty) but others that are a bit older (Warren & Scott).

Time will tell I guess. What did ya'll think?

Not sure where you are, but it's been airing here in Toronto since the start of the fall season. It is indead a great cartoon. I also need to say thanks because I had no idea who the mutant was with the brotherhood. There is also another thread on here that you may want to read. It' may also have some spoilers in it so you may not, you can deside for your self. :D

Huh? It only aired NOW where you are. In Canada the first season is over already. I've watched all of the episodes online.

I really REALLY enjoyed this take on the X-Men cartoon. Can't wait for the 2nd season...considering the final scenes of the 1st season's last episode...the 2nd season should be totally awesome!

Btw, isn't the 2nd season supposed to debut NOW in January or something? I just read it on IMDB.

Yeah it just started airing here in the States on Nick Toons. Every Friday night 8 ET. They aired the first 2 episodes tonight.

I think I will avoid the other thread, don't want to spoil it.

I live in the states, Have I been missing it as well. There is another thread about this show, the most I know of it is it is supposed to pick up where X-Men: Evolution left off.
It does sort of pick up where evolution left off. But it quickly goes in an unexpected to direction. Some of the characters are slightly different than they were in evolution and some relationships as well.

I watched the first 14 episodes online. i don't get the channel, so that is my only way to see it. i actually like where there going with this even though i do not like wolverine. The first season has 26 episodes and marvel just gave the go ahead for the second season, so can not wait for that.

I thought I was the only one who cant stand wolverine. He's like my least favorite on the team. But everything seems to be centered around him. And now the WOlverine movie? Gimme a break. ALthough I do like Hugh Jackman as wolverine.

Hey, do you happen to know where you watched it online?

Or at least give me a hint?

Thanks!

haha i clicked this and saw your avatar and was so confused...

i'll change mine.

(i had the same exact one, of Colossus, that you are using)

Wow, I saw the episodes Sunday afternoon on Nick (I dont have Nicktoons) and I thought it was brand new, had no idea the aired already in Canada (its because Logan is a Canuck isnt it?). I liked it, but didnt love it. Not to crazy about the focus on Wolverine, but he is the most popular superhero these days so its understandable from a marketing viewpoint. The animation was good but the plots & dialouge need work. Having said that though its still easily the best superhero toon since Cartoon Network ended Justice League, but thats faint praise because in the interim we got AWFUL toons like Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes & Fantastic Four. The Brave & The Bold toon on CN is just ok. But the best superhero toon on TV these days is the Anime "Bleach" on CN.

Haha! Thats funny! I randomly change mine out, use different X-Men characters, I've been meaning to change it recently, so you are more than welcome to it!

These days? Wolverine has always been one of Marvel's main cashcows, especially in the X-Men universe. I understand his appeal, but he's overrated. There are so many other characters with more interesting personalities and abilities.

I watch it on animefreak (Google it) and it has multiple languages to choose from. The only thing is that no Jean Grey, she is my favorite character. I am liking the White Queen though, but she is no Phoenix (also the reason i choose my screen name).

Jean is my favorite as well. Even non-Phoenix Jean is awesome to me. Emma Frost did grow on me due to this series. It is cool to have someone like her who hardly gets attention outside of comics. I would have preferred Psylocke but Emma is ok I guess. although they made Wolverine the title character there honestly isnt too much focus on him imo.

I watched the second half of the show in spanish. I'm portuguese so I could totally understand like 95% of what they were saying.

i don't know if i actually HATE Wolverine, but it does get annoying how he seems to be EVERYWHERE!!! i was saying in another thread that i just don't get why he's always been so popular. sure he was something new and different(sorta) when the character was 1st introduced, but that shit got old real fast for me.

i was pleasantly surprised by the cartoon though. had very low expectations for it, but so far i'm liking it.
