I agree with all, but may I add Katrina?

Homeland security
Straight-acting
Fag/Faggot
Cunt

Nigga* and like words.

*Not to be confused with nigger, which is equally offensive, but the slang version annoys me, whereas the other makes me angry

don't really have any words but here is a phrase I despise because of it's stupidity:

"same difference"

without a doubt.. regardless who says it.. gay or straight.. in any context.

queer

Oh, I remembered another...

guesstimate

*shudders then hides under bed covers (you're all invited)*

I can't stand to hear any word used in order to hurt someone else's feelings or to make someone feel inferior, even if they're not obcene or curse words.

All of the above, but my contribution is
chick. Especially when women call other women or themselves chicks. It sounds so incredibly stupid.

I HATE hearing this phrase "that is gay" or "that is so gay". Whats wrong with being gay!!!

the word "like" as used by lots of people........"it's, like, raining outside".
Just grates my nerves. Although my all time favorite fingernails on a blackboard word would have to be "let me axe you something".
I've also noticed in tv news interviews....especially sports players being asked questions.......the white guys answer the reporter with lots of "and, uh" between sentences and the black guys insert the phrase "you know what I'm talking about" in every other sentence. I think they are nervous at being on camera, but sadly it makes them appear to have a third grade education.

Solution (as in "business solution" when describing a product or service, "software solution" for a programme et cetera). What next, dining solution instead of food?

In science, a solution means a liquid mixture of solute(s) and solvent(s). That is a solution. The rest is just stupid and crap.

Weird for me, but I can't stand it when people say ASAP. But they say A-Sap...not A S A P.

I always understood that to be a military pronunciation...at least that's the way I remembered it!

But as for words I can't stand to hear, well I'd have to say I've really grown to hate, "I'm not from the United States!" :grrr:

Every time I see that on this board, I cringe!

"what-evs", short for whatever. My sister constantly says it, which drives me crazy.
