That is Emma. And no she isn't around their age because they took everyone's age in the movies and mixed them up. Jean is old as fuck in the movies. Then you have Scott being a younger man and storm being older then Angel and Angel being a kid. But Scott should be Emma's age since we saw scott and emma in the Wolverine movie. But I don't think Scott is in this. I know Mystique is in this but she shouldn't be as young as any of them either. Mystique is like Wolverine and has been around a long time. Now I am much more a DC guy but I did buy the X-men comics from 1994 to 2000 when they killed Jean. I never warmed up to Emma. I think Jean could have been a great character in the movies and they fucked her up. And is that Kevin Bacon? Who is he playing?
 
Emma frost was supposed to be older I thought in the comic books... and in X Men Origins they displayed chaacters in such an obscure way who know what the hel they are going to do.....
Trying to think of older x men... For some reason i am thinking mysterio or something??
 
Oh man this looks so good! It looks loads better than Captain America, Thor and Green Lantern! In my heart I'm a huge X-men fan even though I've been dissapointed by some of the films in the past (and some of the comics going now).

Wow, Fassbender is going to be such a great Magneto.
 
All I know is if this one lets me down I am burning a freaking X on someone's front yard! :p

Oh. Now I know where he came from. In one of the books he pretended that the phoenix had returned... and terrorized the mansion.. I dont like when they cross over comic books
 
I thought "First Class" meant the roster would consist of Xavier's first? Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, and Iceman. This looks and reads kinda lame. The X-Men movies were sent to hell in a picnic basket...are they gonna do a reboot for that too? -__-

I don't see this doing to well at the box office =|

It does mean that in the comics but the movies are a whole different story. Storm and Wolverine weren't in the original line up and they wanted them for the first movie. So the movies and comics are no longer related. I would rather see them continue what they were doing by using Bobby, Angel, Kitty, Colossus. Maybe a days of future past story. These movies haven't been brave with the stories. They fucked Phoenix up. Jean has no redemption with what they did. I used to buy X-Factor. I still have the first several isuues I think. It was exciting to see Jean return as Marvel Girl. Everyone thought she was dead. She ended up not even being Phoenix. There were so many twists and turns.

not just go insane and kill professor xavier. plus for some reason I am recalling his associate moira being a mutant? you know the one they mentioned being a scientist briefly who had that guy with no brain function who we know xavier is going to possess?
 
All of that, plus the fact that - and this is the killer - Phoenix was not supposed to be a dual personality, it's supposed to be a Cosmic Entity.

Xavier: "I forgot to warn you, Logan...Jean has a dual personality and I've been keeping it hidden because it's so damn powerful."

Ok, so maybe I went over board with that. But I keep forgetting these movies hardly stay true to the comics and have their own reality, same with the tv shows.
 
I am really excited about this movie! I am not worried about continuity errors. I just consider prequels the beginning of an entirely new series. And after X3, why not just forget about the previous series? I don't mean to offend anyone who liked X3, but it wasn't for me.
 
i do plan to watch this film. i am psyched! hahahaha. i am an x-men fan and i would want to see on how they handled the story lines of these people/mutants. i think that this is a relatively different story from the first x-men trilogy as this is the prequel.

i just hope that this is better than X3. after X3, i just lost hope for Xmen:Origins. X3 was quite of a downer.
 
I didn't mind the Wolverine prequel. It was alright. They could have used more Gambit.
