Ok, guilty pleasure of mine but I fucking love this show! LOL
I'm rewatching all the seasons. Currently on the 3rd season. :D

Anyone else enjoy this tv classic?

I love the show, but didn't follow it as religiously as I should have in later seasons (damm middle/high school) so at some point I'll watch it over again.
 
i have to say, i find the idea of xena warrior princess much more appealing than the actual show ever was.

lucy lawless is wonderful as xena, and there is a lot to like. and i can deal with the sometimes honky acting and the cheap sets. but there is also always so much bullshit going on. there is no excuse for the lack of hot guys, or the mostly nonsensical plots, or all the jokes that just arent funny at all. and i fucking hate joxter.

i love xena as a icon, and i love the things she inspired, from buffy to alias to kill bill. but the actual show just never was that great, in my opinion.

I love that show so much... although did not watch much of the last season. I want to go watch them again now.

Joxer was kinda annoying, I agree. I mean, sometimes I really like him, sometimes I CANNOT stand him.
 
Hell yeah! Ares was the hottest thing on that show...Caesar came in a close second. But Gabrielle, towards the end, was the shit.
 
^^Yeah--I learned that when I was watching a rerun of Xena on Oxygen a few years ago.

Only if Lucy Lawless is in it. After Lucy played Xena, no one should ever touch that character other than Lucy herself.


But you never know, I might be surprised, in a positive way. They should choose carefully the actress, they better be thorough if they don't want to ruin such an iconic classic character.
 
Iv started re watching this show again also im currently onto season 2:-) i would also love to see a xena movie someday but only if lucy and renne are the leads and if they bring ephinney BACK she was sexy o and JOXER AND CALLISTO FTW :-)

My favorite show of all time. I can't count how many times I watched every episode. The drama, the action, the comedy, it was always fun to watch.

Also, Callisto is the only woman I would ever turn straight for.
 
Aw man Xena was and will always be the shiznit lol! She was a badass woman and she kicked way more ass than even Hercules and with more style! I was in 7th grade I think when it was spun off from Hercules. ;)
 
I loved Xena, used to watch it every Saturday at least until it moved to a channel I didn't get because I didn't have cable back then :(.
I watched right up to the point where Xena killed Callisto because she killed Gabriele, then it went to another network so I never finished up the series :cry:.
