Of course, he loves that he can take any random artist and make money off them. He goes through more artists than Clive Davis, Jimmy Iovine, LA Reid, and all the major labels/execs combined.

Clive Davis has atleast had some long lasting stars aka arista

Well that was a little obvious - but it still sucks! i like Damien Kyle...they make good shit! I too don't see how anyone could/would want to work with Diddy. He's always bragging about album sales and no.1s etc, but where the fuck are they?!

The only thing he ever did right was 112. one of my all time favorite groups - until he did them wrong and they left. who's on his label that's keeping it alive?! i can't think of any other successful artists at the moment - or any new ones for that matter.

I like D.K too, I think they are "one" of the most talented groups Diddy has ever had, but I do think it was time for Aubrey to get the boot, she became really raunchy and slutty over night. Diddy wants to be in the spotlight himself, and that's why he never puts any energy in to his artists. He gave D.K recycled beats that no other artist wanted, but they still were able to put out two decent albums, I have a strange suspicion that Aubrey will be doing hardcore porn in like a year.

I actually really liked Damien Kyle. I thought they came up with some great songs. But signing with Diddy (like most of you have pointed out) is def a career killer!

It's sad because I think they could have had a good career. They showed some glimpses of greatness.

hmmm too bad for dawn and aundrea. just from watching the commercials and some interviews i have a feeling that they are going to come off really selfish, money hungry, and victimized. sounds like they are condemning shannon and d woods for not coming back, and it sounds like they dont even give a fuck about aubrey. making themselves look good while they make the other 3 look like the bad guys.

yes, aubrey did change and she was going a little too far, she was ruining the brand, but she was the only one that had some star quality. she had the largest personality out of all of them, too bad she let things go to her head, or whatever you want to call it. i think it was too far to kick her out though, she wasnt a lost cause yet. and they cannot say nothin about d woods because he kicked her out for NO reason. i like how she stood up for herself by not coming back. if that were me, there would be nothing to talk about, he doesnt want me and did me like that, why would you go back? if dawn and aundrea dont support her decision and make her look bad then thats fucked up on their part. shannon did the right thing by leaving too, because theres no Damien Kyle without all of them. shes the only one with common sense. dawn and dreas egos are so blown up, they think they can still make it on their own.

no, but i really do like dawn and aundrea too, i can just tell they are going to try to sell out. i guess drea is not going to be around the whole season because of personal issues or something. well then dawn can just join day 26, shes manly enough to fit in.

Aubre-rella was the only reason the show was continually picked up; nothing better than seeing someone actually battle Diddy and get away with for as long as she did.

Guess the rumors were true about her and Diddy bopping behind the scenes; only lovers have spats like that .

Puffy single-handedly killed the group. They were having little personal problems and Diddy decides to cut people out of the blue. Their biggest problem was management. They had a pretty big fan base. Idiotic Diddy didnt know what to do with them or how to promote them.

They could have just pushed their campiness and become like an American Girls Aloud except better singers and better dancers. Puffy tried to make them a white girl/black girl r&b group, instead of as poppy as they should have been.

Now it seems that ass Puffy wont release Aundrea and Dawn from their contract. I think because he knows if he does that they could get the other girls back on board and just sign Damien Kyle with a different label with less drama. I think Shannon left because she was sick of all the drama Diddy was creating. she seemed to have a happy life and a good husband. who needs that bullshit? I think they do own the name because Dawn made it up.

I feel that they all had a promising career ahead of them, had Diddy stopped being such a mess. It wouldn't have hurt for them to have had better promotion as well.

Poor Dawn...she seems to still be in disbelief, even in that interview.

She was my favorite out of all of them. Her voice was unique and different and she could dance her ass off, but sometimes their stylist had her looking like a tranny.

None of them had star quality. They had sexiness, that's not the same as star quality. When you have to vamp it up and strut across the stage in a skirt that looks like a belt, it's because of a lack of star quality.

Of all the supposedly amazing singing talent that's been through that show, Kelly Clarkson has so far been the only one with a certifiable career. Taylor Swift and Daughtry are pending. And about sixty other top ten finalists who are barely trivia questions now.

So why do they bother? Exactly the same reason in both cases. They're dazzled by the spotlight. They may not see any further than "I get to be on American Idol/work with Diddy". And they probably think that, once they show America what they can do, they can buck the trend.
