You mistake me. I'm talking about how his relationship with his best friend (closer than most best friends) blew up and destroyed the business they'd built together, and left a level of bitterness that means they aren't even able to speak anymore.

THAT'S what was heartbreaking about it.
 
^^I also took the time to read his book...

Not getting TOO bogged down in the soap opera-ish parts -- I was left somewhat bewildered...

His book, realizing it was written from HIS perspective -- left me thinking of Jung's writings regarding personal discovery and interpersonal relationships...

A couple of his FAMOUS quotes that I think may apply:

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” (Often times referred to as -- 'what we see in others is quite often what we see in ourselves')...

And...

“I am astonished, disappointed, pleased with myself. I am distressed, depressed, rapturous. I am all these things at once and cannot add up the sum.”

I'm not being critical -- as these quotes can apply to ALL of us...

I'm just worried about him doing a two hour LIVE event TALKING about it -- as, just like his book, he will be publicly presenting HIS side of his life events in such a way that it CANNOT be UNDONE.

So, I will end my post with ONE MORE proverb that comes to mind -- this one is from King Solomon...

"Words aptly spoken are like apples of gold in settings of silver"...

I wish that I could actually see the event -- but, alas, I live on east coast time -- and will be sound asleep...

Last night was really fun, guys! I forgot how much fun it was being in front of the camera! It seemed like a lot of people were happy to see my surprise guest, Bret Myles, drop by for face-time as well! Look forward to doing this again soon and I promise next time, I won't be so nervous lol!
 
This was something goofy that we created with a few of the models at the Fratpad... hope it at least puts a smile on a few faces ;)
 
Zane, the Friday night show was just what I hoped for - candid, fun, light-hearted (mostly), and open-ended. It was nice to meet Brett/Rhett - that whetted my appetite to see more of him. And I appreciated the time you spent trying to clarify the background to your book. If anything, you may be over-generous. But that's typical of you.

Also, the FratpadMan video was delightful. Nico has a real gift for that kind of clowning around and you should capitalize on it. Develop some ideas, allow more time for production... More, more! This is something I don't see anywhere else and that makes it doubly valuable - another thing about FP that's unique.

That said. I haven't heard or read any other negatives and I hate having to be the one to post a criticism. BUT we are all still waiting for a new look at Zane naked. Even though I am concerned because he is looking a little emaciated from overwork and I hope that is not true of all his body parts.

Based on the comments on the Fratmen blog today, it appears that the New Year has brought changes as predicted, but speculation is that Zane is not happy with them. Seems like this group which cares more about him than his employer should start worrying about him again.
 
Enjoyed your cam show last night Zane. You were funny and seemed to be happy and enjoying yourself. Glad for you.

BUT at least shirtless would have been nice.
