There's a whole group saying that Vance is the Manchurian candidate and that's he's conspiring with the Murdochs to boot Trump as being non compos mentis. And of course, there's "the Jews" and Maxwell's father...

Back in 2016, when the RNC was discussing the evangelical wishlist, the RNC talked about how the evangelicals had been wanting to get rid of Roe v Wade since the 70s. Trump's response? "Why don't we just give them what they want?". This was the thing that got Trump support from leading ministers, in spite of Trump's tawdry past.

What Trump failed to understand is, when you give a group of supporters everything they are asking for, then they no longer need to you get their wish list satisfied. Trump is quickly heading into that position where, now that he can't be re-elected in 2028, he's dispensable.

He doesn't care.

His plan is to either just seize power before 2028...or at this point...just avoid jail. And it will only be successful because of his Owners.

And as we are all scribbling about this week, Project 2025 doesn't need him much any more...

He will keep fighting until the end but it is clear that his physical health is failing rapidly...along with his cognitive abilities.

The BBC is reporting that the US justice department has asked for a meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell to discuss what she knows about Epstein. Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison.

Will she talk? If I were in her shoes, I think I'd want out of prison as my "fee".

It could backfire badly.

TrumpCo. will offer her freedom and likely a pardon at the end of his term if she provides the names of some celebs but denies Trump's close involvement with Epstein. We all know this.

I certainly have thought about that but I think the moment has passed.

Her death would definitely be a Putin-esque bold move...but would certainly trigger the release of files and secrets she still holds.
