Do you take your phone into your bedroom?

It sits on my bedroom dresser turned off always except when I am going out. I have the home phone extensions in a few rooms when I am at home and am trying to get used to how to use the smart phone.

Not usually. The only time it is in the bedroom is if I am using it for an alarm clock.
I certainly don't 'doom scroll' as a lot of youngsters appear to do.
I don't even have a TV in the bedroom.

On a related topic, do you take your phone into the bathroom?
You see stories of people dropping their phones in the toilet! I would never have my phone there.

Not since one time I took a phone in when I was about to shower. It took one look at my naked body, and it couldn't handle the sight. After I replaced it, I resolved to keep phones where they'd only see me fully clothed.

Yes, I keep it on my bedside table overnight. I don't use it, but it's there in case anyone needs to contact me urgently.

I don't have a TV in my room either. And no I don't take my phone into the bathroom, except out in public.

I take my phone and iPad to the room with me out of necessity because I am blind and a bit disable. I now also wear my apple watch all day long because I often choke (insert joke here). I am not happy about it but on the other hand it is great to know that some technology might save my life.

Yeah. The TV in the bedroom went away. The 19" Mitsubishi died of old age. Not of hours used. So we got rid of the mount and installed a 24" flat screen. And NEVER watched it unless folding laundry and there was a good NASCAR race on.
I rearranged the bedroom and no more TV. I still have the flat screen TV. Clutter in the spare bedroom now. But it works and it seems a sin to shitcan it.

That is a perfectly reasonable reason to have your phone close.
Hopefully you will never have need to use it in an emergency

Nobody in my life is so important as to need to contact me in the middle of the night

I have certain ring tones so I know when to pick up. Also if it is outside of 8am to 10pm I know to pick up.

I don't usually take a phone into the bathroom, however, if I am waiting for a call, or a return call, I have a few times. I don't like to do this if I don't need to.
