Shoot somebody? Meh. Violate civil rights? Who hasn't? Falsify reports or plant evidence that contradict the fucking camera around your neck? So what!? Whatevs. But report an abuse of power? BIJ YOU GOTS TA GO!

Taisyn Crutchfield is suing the PD that relieved her of duty after she intervened when a coworker was about to smash a [guess what color] teen's face into a cactus-like plant.

Now begins the totally-not-racist caterwauling about her getting what she had coming to her as the thin blue line warriors fade into the musty darkness from whence they came, oblivious to the machinations of their loud and rigid color-coded empathy. [see: silence on black vets and servicemen who have racist run-ins with police or bar patrons with Confederate flag tatttoos)

Taisyn Crutchfield is suing the PD that relieved her of duty after she intervened when a coworker was about to smash a ... teen's face into a cactus-like plant.

The former Pasadena Police Department Officer Taisyn Crutchfield reported that one of the sons of Charles Towns (fatally wounded by police officers the month before) was actually thrown face-first into a cactus during the incident being investigated. I note that Crutchfield was not relieved of duty, but voluntarily took another job during her paid administrative leave and extended probation period.

Following are a couple links with a bit of background on this case.

According to Crutchfield’s attorney, she is “the latest victim” in a history of “racial discrimination, racial profiling, disparities of punishment of African American employees and retaliation against [officers] who are whistleblowers or complain about discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.”

… The City of Pasadena has responded, stating that it will vigorously defend itself, emphasizing that the facts will prevail.

Thanks for clarifying that she wasn't relieved of duty she was just.... temporarily relieved of duty.

I know how important nuance is to the gaslighting process. Trust me. If I didn't know before I came to JUB 20 years ago I know now. :rotflmao:
