Snapchat was the first (?) app for horny chats and pic exchange. Most men, very young then, were however tapping the screen, thus grabbing a photo you send them to watch only for 10 seconds. It was not a problem (for me) that they wanted to save my photo, it was the nausea I got from chatting with guys saying one thing and doing another, deleting their profiles after they told/showed you intimate images of themselves. Probably thinking I would do what they were doing? Grabbing, using the pix on websites?

Anyway, to the reader's knowledge, did the public change in these last 11 years? The web is super-super saturated with dick pics and faces of guys, and then some more. Did this work as a relaxation cure for the younger gen? Cose those who were 25, 11 years ago, considered by the culture they supported, are old daddies now. How's the new wave?

Given that 25 is generally considered the threshold of/for daddy/mama age, yes, they must be OLD daddies by now.

I wasnt age shaming, I myself am 60, happy to be so and wouldnt change with a 20. Many men my generation didnt have this privilege
Was I pointing at any shaming?
Not only in common, popular "wisdom" 25 has been considered the threshold for "adulthood", from Ancient Roman age down to Paris 68, disco era and somewhat beyond: benefits for "the young" would traditionally include ages of teens and young people up to 25. Of course, then it would be extended to 26, now it goes even until 30... given that there are not enough under-25 to whom be peddling stuff, and also that late 20s are the new early 20s.

As for the core topic: people never learn... not from their own lives, let alone from the lives of others.
And people never change: they just show up under different light, or peel off whatever had been covering their true inner nature.

I think about that often and I am happy to be my age and will never complain about it because pretty much all of my friends died in their 20s and 30s and I will never forget.
Worrying about my age would be like slapping them all in the face. Besides - if I am still alive so is a part of them.

I have never been to snapchat so I have no reference. I have heard the term before but never knew what it was .

And, still, people wonder why I won't handle someone else's cell phone.

Nice contributions!
I dont want to change anyone. When I was in my 20s I thought I could influence society in a direction I thought necessary. Wrong. But I was 20. Change does come, in very small increments and not always in a benefic way. Call me selfish but at 60 I prefer to focus on my own shit, there's a lot of beauty to admire in the world. Just not in mass culture. Marx was right in this respect.
As for 30 years old daddy, I forgot to mention I find that ridiculous when a 20 yo is fucked by a 30 yo "daddy". I became a biological father at 17 but at 10, I doubt someone could father a boy who'd be his sex partner 20 years later. Yes, mother Mary did give birth at 13 but girls get their period at that age.
And then again, it's all in the mind. Sadly 20 yolds age shame a 30 yo and many are turned on by a 60. I keep learning and marvel at the life circus :-)
