Think of a hemorrhoid as just an area of swelling of a vein- kind of like a busted lip on your asshole.

You can still have sex- it's not going to bust- but it might hurt and bleed a bit.

Generally it's better to give it a rest until the swelling comes down a bit, though.

I wouldn't have sex if either me or my partner had an hemorrhoid. It would hurt way too much!

A Heating pad tends to heal it quicker, because the heat absorbs the pain.

Hydrocortisone cream will shrink them (external ones) it usually takes about seven days though
