Is it really bad to make out after being rimmed? I know that intestinal parasites can enter your mouth if you kiss after being rimmed. But, you see that all the time in porno videos. This is assuming that both partners are clean and ddf and the area has been washed w/ soap and water prior to being rimmed.
 
Think about it. The guy isn't rimming himself and then kissing you, he's rimming you... so if there are intestinal parasites in this scenario, then they're coming from you... you already have them... in which case you would know about it and not put your partner at risk.
 
You can get sick from your own feces. There are things in the intestinal tract that aren't supposed to be in the rest of the body. That's why things like ruptured intestines are life threatening emergencies as bacteria enter the body that are septic. I am the first to admit I don't understand all the science, but yes your own shit could make you sick, just as it could make your boyfriend sick.
 
Rimming does carry some risks, so it is wise to use a dental dam, or cut and stretch a condom over the anus. Dr K at the San Francisco City Clinic says:

All of the above is correct but 3nipples point is on target with OP's question.

You can get all sorts of bugs from rimming someone.

However, if you kiss the person who has just rimmed you, then you're only going to be reinfected with your own natural flora.
 
Rimming is such a tricky situation. I love rimming a sweaty, kinda dirty guy, which is so dangerous, but the idea of rimming a freshly washed with soap ass just doesn't seem as enticing. With that said, I've received Hepatitis prevention shots, which anyone into rimming should get. I simply won't do it with someone if they or their sexual history seem dubious. Dental dams are an option, though like with oral sex, it's awkward sucking a dick with a condom on it. But it is better to be safe than sorry.

The easiest solution for me? I don't want to rim a guy if he's recently taken a shit, but I find ass is the best if a guy has taken a shower after his morning routine, has not used the bathroom since and doesn't have to, and then rimming. All that sweat isn't dangerous, and the aroma is primal.

I've never had a problem with it, perhaps I"ve just been lucky, I don't know.
Never even minded sucking a guys dick after it's been inside me..

But yes, your partner must be disease free...
 
It's really more of a question of what is "rimming".

Some guys consider rimming just licking the perianal area but no penetration. Other guys go for the full penetration with their tongue.

If there's no penetration and the perianal area is washed with soap, water and a washcloth and/or a wet-wipe, it's probably no more risky than kissing (the mouth is not exactly "clean" either).

But if you're going the full enchilada and deep tonguing with penetration, there is some risk of oral-fecal exchange. The safe sex guidelines would say that you should use a barrier like a dental dam or plastic wrap but that is a personal decision based upon what risk you're willing to take and how well you know your partner.

Because of my interests whenever I see an adult shop I stop. That is the only places I have seen them, but look up condom stores on line. I am sure you can find some at one of them. Just make sure they are functional and not a novelty.

I do talk about this with my doctor (gay practice). One thing he told me is that pepto bismol is thought to have some anti-parasitical effects, so if I ever rim someone that's questionable I take a swig for good measure after.

I gotta say I love rimming, although I worry that it's not very smart. And I agree that rimming a sweaty ass is so much more sexy than rimming a soapy ass.

Any other ideas for post-rimming routines?
