In my head
I just saw this movie today and while there were some good action sequences there were just too many plot holes. Also the kids in it were really irritating.

For those that have seen it what did you think?

Eh, I just liked it for the way it actually made me jump more than usual. :)

But...

---SPOILER---

I don't understand why the army hurdled all the civilians into that basement, especially if it was so easily penetrable.

'28 Days Later' was better.

I guess we'd better stand-by for '28 Years Later'.

I hope they don't make another sequel. I haven't seen the second one, and I've heard good things from people who liked the first movie, but I wouldn't want them to take it any further.

The first one was good, have only seen the first 5-10 minutes of the second one(a ripped DVD from a friend which was a crap one) and couldn't tell you how good it is, but from what I can tell, it's not very good.

i was so excited to see the sequel. But after seeing it i was so dissapointed. They should have stopped after the original.

the sequel was a total let down and not worth it. In the end I felt like hollywood was just trying to cash in on something that was good and gave me leftovers that were spoiled.

I normally hate zombie movies, so when I like the first one and I thought it cool, I was shocked at myself. I saw this movie last night and i wanted to kill myself. back to hating stupid ass zombie movies. It felt like it took 28 weeks for it to end.

Ugh! The film was just one big plot hole. There was a lot to work with and sadly it was done with lack of care and percision.

I only watched 'days' because of the opening shots..... But I enjoyed the film.

I watched 'weeks' last night (on DVD) too much camera movements for my liking but still a good zombie film.

( I have always wondered why people need to have 'Plots' for these type of films... Aren't they are just 'gore feasts' ?)

I loved this movie so much. The whole time I was waiting for the next thing to jump out. By the time the movie was over, I was out of breath. Obviously there will be another sequel because the ending was a cliffhanger.

Liked the movie and the actor cillian murphy he's a cute little man . If this is the right movie I'm thinking about.

I thought the film was good, although i agree the major plot hole when in the first one they mention outbreaks in new york and paris, yet in the second one those places are fine until the end, so fuck knows what happened there.
Also was dissappointed to find out the film had a political agenda aswell, it was supposedly to represent the handling of the war in Iraq, which if it is true i think is total crap.

I don't think 'Weeks' implied that New York and Paris were OK. I think they went through the same outbreak as London did (like in 'Days'). I think there's also a graphic novel out there that is supposed to fill in the gaps between both movies.

And I can appreciate the political agenda of the movie, instead of just being another zombie flick. It held it's own metaphorically.

I liked this one better than the 1st. I read they were doing 28 day later,28 weeks later, and so on. I guess the next is 28 months later? I love Zombie movies. Seen them all. See "Shaun of the dead". Gory and funny.
