Jimmy Smits was in every episode of Dexter, season 3, so why is counted as "guest actor"? Thats normally or people who appeared in 1 or 2 episodes of a season.

And am I the only one bored of seeing Tony Shalhoub being nominated?

I'm also bored of Shaloub. But even more bored of Entourage being nominated.

i am too....luckily this is the last season...so he only has one more year to be nominated.....I understand his nominations though...I DO NOT understand Charlie Sheen's constant nominations though!

They've lost their MF'in minds... who the hell nominates family guy for comedy?

"Greys" Dramatic actress Chandra Wilson has been nominated around 3 or 4 times consecutively...This year she's nominated again and she's nominated for for "Outstanding Lead Actress" in a Movie...

It's about time they honor here with a "win"...And what is up with the Academy LEAVING OUT Jay Leno? Damn they could have given him a "good-bye" nod for best Host..Jay was #1 and ALWAYS beating Dave in the ratings but Dave ALWAYS win the Emmys...

Maybe because David Letterman is actually funny...

Buck-Tooth Dave is funnier but the Emmys took pitty on him after the Heart-Surgery...Consecutive "Pitty Emmys" don't count in my book...LOL...

4 out of 5 writing nominations for Mad Men is also ridiculous.

Its insulting to the writers who put out great episodes this year:

Scott Buck for his work on Dexter

Ronald D Moore for the Battlestar Galactica series finale

Lindelof/Cuse for the Lost season finale

This is basically so they can wank over Matthew Weiner just because he used to write for the Sopranos.

How only one actor is up for LOST I have no idea... and no female? Come on.

agreed....Leno is not funny...at all

Yeah, I never got the fuss about Leno...he's not funny at all on my book. David, otherwise, can actually be funny and make me laugh. Conan is the best IMO. He's hilarious, IMHO.
