I've just read this tale, and I have to tellyou I really enjoyed it. I really like your writing style -- clear, assured and easy to read. I found the characters engaging and the storyline very interesting.
On the one hand I'd have liked more chapters, but on the other hand it was a perfect little episode that harked back to that time before the scourge of HIV, but also when acceptance of gay lifestyles was pretty low. And as DonQuixote said, the ending is poignant.
I enjoyed this one so much, I plan to read more of your stories right away. Thank you for creating your stories and putting them out there for our reading pleasure!

I love the ending with Christian and Terry holding hands. Holding hands with my hubby is the most romantic to me. Your writing warms my heart with its tender moments!
