An unwitting passenger arriving at Japan's Narita airport has received 142g of cannabis after a customs test went awry, officials say.
A customs officer hid a package of the banned substance in a side pocket of a randomly chosen suitcase in order to test airport security.
Sniffer dogs failed to detect the cannabis and the officer could not remember which bag he had put it in.
Anyone finding the package has been asked to contact customs officials.

Why do they have to plant it on a passenger's luggage? They really should have used their own.

142 grams WOW and the dog didnt find it .How come they didnt put an alert out immediately so the customs officers could check every bag's side pocket. Somebody is either very happy or very confused now

I hope someone got it who could appreciate their windfall...and who found it in time and didn't get in trouble for it somewhere else down the line.

142 grams is a lot though, that's almost 6 ounces, practically enough to need its own suitcase. It must be some pretty shitty weed too cuz the weed I know of (hey, I'm from San Francisco) you'd be able to smell that all the way across the airport.
