We recently had a young man(32) from Mexico move in with our next door neighbours and they reached out via our other neighbours to see if I could help him find a connection for his professional line of work...and since last November, I have been trying to set things up for him. I would have hired him myself, but I am actually (seriously) planning on retiring and wanted him to be in an environment with peers who would stimulate and excite him in his career.
And after some quiet background back and forth, today he tells me that he has been taken on at a firm that I thought was right for him and asked for consideration to hire him.
One of the days when I am really happy, happy for a young man's success.
