No, gay men are pretty much like straight couples when it comes to sexual frequency. Hot and heavy and frequent at first, and tapering off as the novelty wears off and you establish a more regular routine. The key is to find a partner that matches your libido.

You seem to really like sex--with your wife, with other guys, or with yourself. Do you ever see yourself in a relationship with a guy?

I have found, in myself and also friend's relationships, that with a guy's higher sex drive it's easier to get them into bed, and in the beginning of a relationship the sex is probably much more frequent...like if you tried to hit it with a girl that many times she's probably think you were a perv, where as a gay guy is like, let's go!! So yeah, at the beginning maybe you'd play all day and night...

But once you settle down into a relationship, all the same pressures apply. In fact, you seem to be getting it more often than most, gay or straight...I'd say your glass is half full my friend. Especially since she likes to watch you jerk off...lotsa wives don't want you touchin nothin' if they're not touchin it.

BTW, everyone is slightly bisexual, although few will admit it.

Well, since I'm in a gay relationship I guess it would be ok for me to respond. Contrary to what's been said so far, not all gay couples are the same. My boyfriend and I have sex 5 times per week and we both masturbate in between those sessions. I would say though that our sex life isn't the norm compared to most couples. We both have very high sex drives and that allows us to crave sex more periodically than maybe other couples. We also set aside time in our schedules for sex. We discussed all of this before our relationship became exclusive; so, it wasn't a problem for either one of us. Heck, I can't be with someone I'm not sexually compatible with. And fortunately my boyfriend came along. After sex we usually don't give another go at it. But sometimes there are exceptions and when we're really in mood we'll give it another shot. But usually after sex, we just talk and cuddle or sometimes we watch TV until we fall asleep in each others arms. But we try to set aside that speacial time for each other. Although, like I said eariler, my relationship is in no way a representation of gay relationships. My boyfriend’s and my sex life is very unique.
 
Hmmm... I think this just confirms my hunch that these kinds of relationships are not "very unique". Sure, they're not the most typical, but I'd say they're fairly common.
 
sir, there are other things even sex-obsessed gays have to do at times - pay bills, go to work, etc. and for recreación, maybe go to the movies, a concert, actually do something other than things done during sex. probably gays are more open about wanting sex, and there are two guys with sex drives more equal than the male-female difference. i imagine y ou are correct in that women control the frequency. after all, the society has told them that what's between their legs controls the universe

So - men have a stronger sex drive than women - and then there's you - this sounds more like satyriasis than a strong sex drive. Five times a day suggests that none of them are particularly satisfying.

Your wife is taking a sensible approach. Watching you jack means that you can achieve satisfaction in a way that includes her as a witness and participant rather than exclusively - shower, video, toilet jacking. She's probably more aware of the frequency of your masturbation than you realise.

It strikes me that your jacking could be perfunctory. Have you tried masturbating to a timer so that don't allow yourself to cum until 20 or 30 minutes have passed?

As in any sexual relationship, the frequency of sexual interaction between gay partners is negotiated by taking into account such things as horniness, tiredness, anniversaries, children, appropriateness, other commitments etc.
 
Well, when I do get to see my boyfriend (which is usually like a Saturday), we have sex about 5 or 6 times, and then of course I spend the rest of the week masturbating like hell..
