cost $220 !!! (it took only afew minutes max).
How much does it cost in your area?

^ really cost that much in the US ?

It only took that dentist a few seconds.
it was the tooth next to wisdom tooth.

What is a bone graft?
No they didn't do anything, just remove a tooth and that is it.

The X-ray was free under medicare and was done by other specialist centre afew weeks earlier.

That's robbery, Telstra, but about the same cost as here in the US midwest....... :grrr:

28 seconds...... $280. I should have become a Dentist.

I arranged for a special bulk garbage pickup when I moved a few years ago... basically junk I no longer needed packed in boxes. They charged around US$300 based on 11 minutes of work. I think you got a bargain.

^ Your "junk" ALSO required expensive equipment and labor plus had to be transported to a facility where it could be properly sorted and disposed of thus requiring even more equipment and labor.

Telstra got no "bargain".......

I don't know because my wisdom teeth were covered by universal health care. And work insurance covers ordinary dentistry.

A crown will strip you of some spendable cash. Most insurance companies will only pay 50% of the cost. So last year my new gold tooth that repaired a fractured one cost me about $550. :(

P.S. Don't chew jawbreakers. #-o

I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled at 2 different times, same oral surgeon (NYC). FIrst time was top right cost $135 going thru insurance (price is total cost) . Second time was bottom right, that one cost $390. Both were done within 1 year of each other.

It must have been more then a simple extraction to be more then an hour. My wisdoms were somewhat complex and it was under an hour.

I had a ton of work done(got rid of all the old "silver" fillings, had a few implants done, some other touch up work. All and all not bud, had been some time sense my last bit of major work.
