anyone remember the "v" series from the 80's? well this will either sink or swim...

ABC is developing a new adaptation of V, the 1980s miniseries about alien lizards visiting Earth, Variety reported.

The miniseries spawned a second mini and a TV spinoff, written by The 4400 co-creator and executive producer Scott Peters.

WHoa I was just thinking about this the other day. After the success of the revamped Battlestar Galactica. And since there seems to be no good original ideas in Hollywood and they are remaking everything. Plus, Most of the new hour long shows this year seem horrendous. I think a V remake would be so easy to do right. How awesome was Diana?
 
I remember Marc Singer in the 1980's movie... I watched this ridiculous movie because I enjoyed watching Marc moving around in the movie. I had the hots for him back then.

I didn't watch it when it was originally on. I might be interested in watching it now.
 
Ahhhhh, V. Loved the two miniseries, the short-lived series, and the DC comic version.

I hear Robert England is also attached to the revamp. I wonder if any of the other original stars are attached?

Hmm. Wonder if Elizabeth would feature in this new version. Can't wait to hear more.
 
Must keep an eye out for this one, I was a big fan of V growing up. I re-call it being on a few years back in re-runs. Also watched for the eye candy. Marc Singer aka Mike Donovan Jeff Yagher who played Kyle and the guy who played Martin (The Visitor that was good) besides Willie (Robert England).
 
Please not Marc Singer. What is he now, 60? If they can put Justin Bruening in the new Knight Rider, can't they put someone hunky like Dylan Bruce in V?

honestly? if they are going to do this it should be a clean sweep. all new faces... it worked for bsg after all.
