OK, this is my first (and it could be my only) entry here on my JUB blog. I'm doing this because I've been asked by three different people about it. I really don't mind getting PMs and just asked flat-out in threads, but I figure this can be the most direct way of answering everyone at once.
I, as some of you know (I don't make a secret out of it), am straight. The biggest question I get always seems to be "Why is a straight boy coming to a gay forum?" And if you read some of my posts, you might actually notice that I've been known to make a few comments about men being sexually attractive. This, I know, has totally confused a few people. Now, I know a good chunk of you guys are cool with this; some of you think I'm weird; some of you may think I'm in denial. You're all entitled to your opinions and I respect that. But now to answer the questions...
1- What is a straight guy doing on JUB?
Truth be told, I came here for the gay porn and ended up liking the people here enough to want to post. I can be very outgoing, but I can also be so incredibly shy. I have a bit more of a backbone here because of the relative anonymity. Therefore, I don't need to censor certain thoughts on a subject.
2-Wait a sec... you're straight but like gay porn?
Yes. I know this lends weight to the "You're clearly in denial about being gay" argument. I can't tell you exactly why I like it, I can only say that I think naked hot men are a turn-on to me. But, I also find naked hot women to be a turn on.
3- So why do you think you're straight?
I can look at a male and say he is attractive (but not want sex with him). I define my sexuality because of who I'm with. I personally believe that an emotional attraction weighs more than a physical one. That being said, I am attracted to my girlfriend in both ways. When I think about my sexuality in-depth, I honestly say I don't picture myself having the same emotional attraction to a male that I would with a female and I define myself accordingly. I have times when I wonder if I'm bisexual because I do get turned on by men, but my emotional attraction to a woman is how I feel I am defined. (I'm also very lucky to have a girlfriend who is accepting of this.)
