I still think he needs basic sex ed first if he thinks alcohol on the asshole is a good idea. Considering the language barrier I've no idea what to recommend him, since I don't know his native tongue.

Well, to be fair, he was only speaking of sterilizing skin, which is just how the nurse does it in prep. He wasn't advocating it so much as saying it would be required to kill germs. We've really been more defensive than he has been offensive, in my opinion.

Aye, I'd agree a lot of people are being more defensive than is warranted. Particularly with the language; it seemed to me to be someone trying to communicate and just doing it badly. I doubt he's had enough practice for charming communication but he was able to get his point across in a roundabout way, which: Kudos to him! Often difficult sometimes, especially in another language. He seems young and loud and using the average teenagers reasoning process to voice his opinion; which unluckily for him doesn't tend to go well with anyone that's not ...rather young.

I don't want him to think the alcohol swabbing actually works for sexual contact; it doesn't remain sterile and I'm pretty sure the anus ect is incredibly absorbant, can't sterilize it long term without some very difficult non-moving positions and a feeding tube I'd imagine. And even then the bacteria multiplies. I wanted him to look into barriers.
