Okay, so I have a 60 GB video ipod that is about three years old and it is really starting to wear out. (I use it everyday) so I am looking at getting the 120 GB classic ipod. What do you think, is this a good idea? Is there anything new coming out that I should wait for? Does anybody have the 120 GB ipod? What do you think about it?
I look at the touch ipod, but it doesn't have the storage I am looking for....
Help me decide!

Thanks

wear out? just battery getting old or colors loss on screen? you can replace the battery if it's dying quickly go to your local batteries plus, and they can do it in store for you.

September is usually (+always) the month when apple unveils new products (mac, ipod, iphone). Your best bet is to get the 120gb classic or wait for another 9 months. There have been rumors about beefier itouch in the works but then again it could be just another one of those fanboy fantasy.

My screen is starting to look worn out and the dock on the bottom isn't working very well, almost like it is loose.

Thanks for the input.

If you buy it don't buy the apple protection plan, it doesn't cover damage. Buy it at Wal-Mart.

I had a 30 gig for a few years, then a few months ago, I bought a 120 gig. I like it!

Beefier as in memory or cost?

well you could wait another 9 months for when they update the whole line-up again, buy it now at full price, or wait until march when they lower the prices slightly...
