Heh, i started out with Adobe products before Creative Suite was available (as a bundled package), so all my liscences are for individual products. So i keep upgrading them as individual products, though i wish they had the bundled version a while back, would have saved me some cash, but oh well, i do get the more extended pro versions this way, which is a plus in my line of work.

Adobe has some of the best imaging products out there, so if anyone is thinking of getting them, do, especially if you are a professional like me, you can't exist without them :).

P.S.
I added a few images to my gallery of various works i've done, using a combination of Lightwave (3D graphics modeling program) and various adobe imaging programs.

Master Collection....Oooooooo man, think of the RAM you need to run these programs. GOOD GOD!

Well I just hope they run on my system, I doubt it will run on my friend's system with him running 512MB of ram.

Here's a simple yet elegant example of how you can use something like creative suite to really enhance your images.

As many of you know, i'm a 3D graphics artist. So most of my work comes out of NewTek® Lightwave™ 3D [9]. Bust most of the time, that's not the final product. There are a lot of things you can do to enhance an image that are much easier to do in something like creative suite than in Lightwave itself. For example, i used Adobe® After Effects™ [7] and Adobe® Photoshop™ [CS2] to turn this Lightwave render:

Into this final product:

Both are quite nice, but the latter is more polished and stunning than the former.

I've got CS now, but I'll probably get CS3 when it's available. I'm still a college student, eligible for student discounts which is really nice. Right now, one of the student discount retailers (legit) is offering CS2 with a free upgrade to CS3 Design Ultimate for less than their future price of CS3 Design Ultimate full. Can't decide what I want to do.

I want this so bad it hurts. It looks like a strong update. I understand, but why does it have to be $1000. They need a starving artist discount.

I've been waiting a while for this, but there's no way I can afford it.
