Advice: Is too tight a bad thing?

So this is kind of embarrassing but I tried topping for the first time a few days ago.
It was also my first time wearing a condom.
I thought I would really enjoy it, but it was like too tight...it felt like my dick would snap trying to get it in.
The bottom told me he was fine and comfortable, so I wasn't hurting him or anything.
But I just did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
We did use lube, and tried to open him up a bit with a Dildo before hand. He also has a lot of experience bottoming...so maybe it's just me?

Does anyone else feel like too tight is bad? :S

I got hard easily and stayed hard the whole time, so I don't believe it was that. i've also never had that problem in the past.

Did you try different positions?

Usually most guys find the sensation of tightness to be pleasurable. The sensation of resistance- that is, pressure pushing against the penis- can be uncomfortable.

Were you feeling pressure around your dick once you were all the way? Or were you feeling resistance against your penis when you tried to go in?

No, I don't think it was, it was hard putting it on. maybe it was the condom's fault

He told me to relax back there and try not to squeeze. Also try different positions.
