So in a couple weeks, I will be going to Honolulu on business. This seems like it could be my chance to experiment discretely. So my question is how best to do this?

I think any personal ad/hookup site has about the same odds of success. You just need to use common sense when speaking to someone about hooking up and get a feel for them from how they respond to you.

Well, the thing about the cruising sites is that the people that do online hookups tend to spread themselves out. Sooo..you will find the same people on Craigslist, Squirt, Grindr, etc but they will have different profiles. Additionally, the online cruising community is very incestuous. By that, I mean that there is a dedicated group that chooses that medium to find each other, and they've all been sleeping with each other. Now, that isn't a literal translation, but when you have a limited pool of, say, 50 guys that have been hardcore cruising online (plus the bathhouses and theaters) there is a certain amount of shared "community" there if you know what I mean.

So, what's my point in this?

You are specifically interested in getting fucked. Not only that, you are searching in a community of (let's be honest here) sex addicts, people that love risk and anonymity, etc. This isn't judgement, this is a perspective on the people you are looking at having sex with. I get that you are looking for an easy hook-up. Thing is, you need to be aware of the risk you will be taking.

Now, I certainly am not Holly Purity. I've had my past, and I've survived the 80's AIDS epidemic whereas close friends of mine have not. I'm just saying..if you want to get fucked be aware of you own personal safety. You never know who they have come into contact with.
