Fucking brilliant! the 'No no drama' line is gold. Itmay be shameful to say, but it's also a really good version, it reminds me of Tori Amos' random take on 'Smells Like'.

as much as ill sound like an ass...i dont like her happy and fun.
when shes happy, her musics horrible, ie so called chaos
compared to her old mad days, jagged, supposed.. her more recent stuff is crap

but, ive got to admit, this was funny and she still sounds amazing

I like it but, What was this for? Why did she do this? Is it for a new album? Because she would have to get the rights from BEP to rerecord it.

I like how she made it sound like a serious song by slowing it up.

She just did this as an April Fools parody, I believe. There was never an official explanation given (on her site there's just a "click here" with a pic of 'humps' hah)

(I make little secret that I think "Hip Hop" is for people who are too stupid to understand nursery rhymes and Sesame Street. She's obviously making fun of how bad Hip Hop is, but is there a particular singer she's lampooning or just all of them?)

You know, as much as people keep hatin' this song and said the BEP sold out when they released it, there is no denying that you can get a party jazzed up and everyone in a good mood when you play MY HUMPS. It's catchy, cheerful and has all the right hooks that drag you in without even realising it, and also naughty as hell when you realise what she's actually singing about. I'm ashamed to admit that I occassionally dance around my room with this pumped into my earphones on my ipod with nothing but my briefs on occasssion. Good times

Alanis getting the rights to do this song is a no-brainer. She just made a phone call and said dude, I'm killing your song over here. I'm sure he heard it and thought it was brilliant. He said years ago he was gonna sell out with the BEP because no one took them seriously anyway and that everyone would love it.

Looks like he was right.
