Alternatives to RealPlayer, for the Mac?

Real player on the mac works fine for me. You just have to take care when installing it that you don't allow it to try and take over. Ie only let it play .rm files. Trouble with so much software is that it tries to set itself up as the default player for every type of media file you may have when it may well not be the best for it.
 
If you don't get any new Real files anyway, best would be to convert those RMs to a proper standard format.
 
Real files indeed don't work on VLC for Windows.
