ok let me cut straight to it i am a 20 year old virgin ever since i was about 14 i have always wanted to lose my virginty to a older man say late 30's early 40's idk y but i just can't seem to be intrested in guys my own age i tell my friends about this and they all look at me like i'm a freak not only for likeing older men but for being a virgin is it really all that strange for a 20 year old guy to be a virgin and to be intrested to older men
 
No, it's not. When you like older guys it's not always that easy to find guys that are interested. I have met my last boyfriend as well as my current one online.

Your friends probably don't get it because it's just not as common. If you were the only one that liked older men there wouldn't be a sub forum here dedicated to Daddies, Bears, and Chasers, and there wouldn't be genres of gay porn dedicated to older men.

Its not strange at all as I lost my virginity to an older guy who is now my current boyfriend. My friends don't really accept it they even poke fun at me and make jokes about me and my boyfriend. I think the gay community has huge issues about this older / younger thing its not for everyone and people who don't understand it will eventually laugh about it and make others feel like shit in the process. I think its time to look for better friends if the ones you have look at you in disgust.

As others have stated there is nothing wrong with your attraction to older men. Neither is there anything wrong with being a 20 year old virgin. Everyone moves at their own pace and only you can decide when the time is right. There are many guys much older than 20 that are still virgins. Who cares? Of all the things in life to worry about. Being a virgin should be low on your list.

Take your time and find someone that makes you happy. Look for some new friends. Friends should support and care for you. Not make fun. When you have found the right person and the time is right. Then and only then should you have sex with him. Not because it's time to lose your virginity. Not because your friends are teasing you. Not because you've seen a movie and everyone is screwing each other. Do it when it's right for YOU. Nobody else.

I don't think it's the gay community that has huge issues with this so much as the majority of society.
 
I guess I meant that for me, at that time, it was hard to find anyone. We didn't have a club where I lived when I met my first bf and I generally don't like going to the bars and/or clubs alone and didn't really have anyone to go with right after I moved back home from college. Most of my friends were elsewhere at the time.
