and will totally warp the kid into thinking that Daddy in an inanimate object?

Flat Daddy

choose "Flat Daddy" from the menu.

Yes I find it totally creepy. And Flat Michael Vartan, sitting here next to me on the couch, says he couldn't agree more!

That's just strange. No, you're not the only person that thinks this is creepy.

can you picture her out shopping "Honey, do you like these pillow cases? NO? Ok.. which ones do you like?"

I wonder if she sleeps with it.

Creepy? Yes.

But these people are under a lot of stress. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes.

But I wonder if the little girl ever puts pink shirts on Daddy. ;)

It's only creepy to me becuase she takes it places. I wonder how upset she would be if like she broke it... Poor little Brooke wouldn't know what to think, if her flatdaddy was in a few pieces...

I think that's weird and it might fuck with the daughter's mind a bit if that lady really does as much with the flat daddy as she says. :/

"Why is Daddy always looking at me?"

Yet another woman who's being taught to treat a man like he's nothing. Argh.

Creepy? Nope. Bullshit? Why yes.

Well, and what happens when her "flesh Daddy" comes home and doesn't look exactly like the picture?

Will she freak out and go hug the paper doll again?

No Soil you are not. The child is likely to have an unrealistic awareness of Daddys situation. What if something tragic happens and he perishes? The child would be left with serious problems.

I certainly feel for familes of our service hero's, but that is a little over...

Wonder what that does to the childs mental health?

I agree: Only in America

im feeling like charlie brown with his xmas tree....

"poor little flat daddy..."

(adds strap-on and 'buns' (tm) underwear...)

"there, now daddy isn't so flat anymore! all he really needed was just a little love..."

I wonder if she takes flat daddy to bed with her and does things to him?

Sheesh...

Well, it would help a little if the cut out was two sided, at least.
(A picture of him from the back, on the flip side...)

But, it IS kinda weird.

But if it comforts the kid, I guess it's OK. But, what if something happens
to 'real daddy' ?

I'm not even sure what to think about this.

The wife looks like Andrea Yates, the woman who drowned her 5 kids in the bath tub...

As for the "flat daddy," there was a commercial a few months ago about a boy who took pictures of different parts of his dad, and then ran each photo off the printer. The final part of the commercial showed all the photos taped together, sitting in a chair, while the dad was away on a business trip...

People are such freaks. I never ceased to be amazed and yet, am never really surprised by what I see anymore.
