Amazing television moments

The Exodus of New Caprica on Battlestar Galactica, when the Galactica jumped into the atmosphere and jumped away after launching the vipers just before hitting the ground, it was amazing.

Season 2 of Buffy finale ,- i cry like a baby she has to kill her one true love to save the world and she is so alone.

season 5 buffy season finale - The lengths thatbuffy went to save her sister ( that really woke me up and have a completley different relationship with my sister ( stronger)

and the finale ep of buffy the end , i cry because im so happy for buffy and the characters, the finale did the show justcie. but i balled like a baby

The X Files - When Scully finds the alien space ship on the beach and realises that the bible passages she found are ingrained on the side of hull. The implications just come crashing in and then the credits roll

Futurama - Just cos some others metioned it, the end of the episode with Fry's dog and the end of the finale were incredibly touching for a cartoon. More-so than the Simpsons or King of the Hill ever managed.

ER - Anthony Edwards dies.

Buffy - some great moments, Professor Walsh is killed by her Frankenstien son... "When they least expect it.."; Buffy gives her life for whiny Dawn (very selfless); Angel killing Jenny; The Hush episode...

Ally McBeal - Billy dying, some of Nelle and John's antics. The first time I saw the episode where Ally tells the bad joke. I felt so embarrased for her...

Lucy giving birth to Little Ricky. And to think they had separate beds.

The first moment I thought of was Billy dying on Ally McBeal. I seriously gasped when that happened. I had a similar reaction to this season's finale on Lost... probably more so because I have to wait FOREVER to find out what's happening next.](*,)

The recent Doctor Who ep with Sir Derek Jacobi when he turns evil.

Season 2 of Buffy finale ,- i cry like a baby she has to kill her one true love to save the world and she is so alone.
That was a defining television moment for me. It was then I decided that show was pretty darn awesome. :D

So much passion so much emotion in such a pretty short scene. The entire two episodes though were so well written.

These are not exactly "favorite" moments, but they certainly are AMAZING!

Walter Cronkite narrating man's first steps on the moon.

M*A*S*H final episode

Jack Ruby killing Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement of the Dallas PD

*The first episode of "Twin Peaks"
*Pam Ewing's dream in "Dallas"
*"Ellen's" coming out episode
*"Lost" Season 3 finale - blew my mind!
and for Aussies....
*Molly dying on "A Country Practice"

Everytime I see George Bush on TV my jaw drops in disbelief - come on America, wake up - you deserve better than this fucking knobhead (by the way I'm British so I know a fucking wretched politician when I see one!!!)

Boston Legal- in an episode this past season....the one where Denny(William Shatner)has flashbacks about his dad.....amazing Television.....hilarious show, highly recommended if none of you have seen it.

Buffy - so many to choose from.

Buffy killing Angel, Angel killing Ms Calendar, "The Body", Buffy dying at the end of season 5 (including the whole speech she gives to Dawn - that has me in tears everytime I watch it), Tara dying, the musical episode.

Just such a brilliant show.
