For whatever reason, Erdogan has, according to Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo, agreed to a cease fire and an end to the military campaign. Trump gets the opportunity to crow to his supporters his approach WORKED, though he brought things perilously close to disaster in the first place. Again, it looks like he will emerge from this... as least to his supporters... in the most twisted twist possible, looking like the hero. God, what a fucking upside down world we live in.
