Yeah. I was just being tongue-in-cheek; you know, because nobody ever in recorded history from Utah could ever POSSIBLY be actually gay. ;)
 
I'm sad that Josiah didn't make the cut. He was the one living out of his car. His last audition was awful, tho.

I was also sad that the dorky guy with the curly hair didn't make it. I can't remember his name right now. He was one of the last 2 to go upstairs.
 
I am decently happy with the top 24. I am sad that Josiah didn't get in, but he DID blow his last audition, AND he needs to get his butt back in school.

Now... Carly Smithson on the other hand.... she should be disqualified. She has already had a record with MCA Records while Randy was in charge. It therefore disqualifies her.
 
Carly Smithson, Michael Lee Johns, Kristy Lee Cook, Jason Castro, Robbie Carrico, Syesha Mercado, Joanne Borgella, Amy Davis, David Archuleta, Brooke White, Jason Yeager, and Kady Malloy were all planted in the competition by the producers and Randy, Simon, and Paula put them through.

That is HALF of the contestants in the final 24 who have either released albums that flopped, been on other television shows, or dated Britney Spears. That is ridiculous to me.

Granted, not all of the producer's plants made it through (Lorena Pinot, Shaun Barrowes, and Samantha Sidley got cut), but it is just pointless to me this year because all of the above have had a chance at success before and lost (or won), so they aren't undiscovered talent like the show is supposed to be.

And Josiah Leming was awesome, even his last performance wasn't horrible. I think it sounded alright, but I like that style of music A LOT! I think most people are brainwashed because Simon said he hated it, plus it was not smart sending the band away, but it's ok, based on what I heard about the contract they sign, he's better off not making it to the final 24.
 
Carly is currently NOT under contract, so she is indeed eligible. (Certainly not the first instance of this)
I'm not at all surprised this info was leaked and readily available somewhere online. They did show decorated Christmas trees in the hotel during Hollywood Week so this was taped well in advance.
If you can find Final 3 for Survivor or the winner of TAR ahead of time then its no surprise that this info is available too.
Thanks for labelling it as a spoiler, I didn't open it for that reason until today.
 
Well the list was accurate. I was kinda hoping that it was wrong because I wanted Josiah in!
 
Hopefully in the weeks since they filmed Hollywood Week the final 24 have undergone some makeovers because while most can sing they have to be some of the ugliest contestants in the shows history. I don't think any of the guys would be considered HOTT!!
