Not a lot of talent, but damn.

Tim Urban

I think Casey James will be the next Idol.

WOW! who knew Tim had that hiding under his jacket...too bad he was horrible tonight

His song choice was terrible. I think he could do well with the right song, meaning one without that horrible falsetto.

But damn is he hot!!

I am too lazy to surf the web for an answer, but the guy who played the reworked version of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up", is a genius. He must win. Or at least get a record deal, because I really would buy his album...talent like that makes the best of us rant on like I am doing right now!

Tim Urban always stuck out to me during Hollywood Week as the hottest guy but after seeing that pic above.... GODDAMN!!! *|**|*

Haven't seen the top 12 guys perform. The top 12 girls are all terrible. Why do they always pick a slow ass boring ballad the first night? Have any of these girls never watched the show before coming on the show? I couldn't care less which 6 made the top 12. They should just axe 6 of them this week and get on with the final 12, seriously. Such a let down. I just watched the show. Close your eyes, and about 8 of them sound just the same and you couldn't tell them apart by voice alone even if your life depended on it. It was a Duffy/Adelle karaoke night.

In this season, I would clash for 3 cuties: Casey James, Lee Dewyze, Tim Urban.

me too ...but I knew he had a body like that even before this picture was out. It was obvious under his form fitting shirts..

Tim should have been sent home, even he knew it.

He was voted onto next week? I missed the show.

I always hate when "pretty" people get voted through when they are terrible singers, but mostly I think this with the girls when the hot blond stays and the big black girl with a great voice goes. I guess I'm a hypocrite, but I'm glad he stayed...;)

Look...these people made the top 24 over thousands of others. They may have their faults, may pick songs outside of their ability and comfort zone...or have litle or no stage presence.Remember Ricky Braddy last year, who has a great voice but was denied a place in the Top 12 deemed to have no personality, which is so asinine because really, who remembers everyone who made it through last year,or any year? The best grow and come into full bloom in confidencce and personality as time goes on. But these people can sing.Maybe their range isn't great or whatnot, but how many perfect singers do we really have out there? You don't have to have the rangiest, flashiest voice to sucessfully interpret and make a song work.Is it the least appealing group yet?Who knows.Tim Urban is gorgeous, great eye candy....certainly not disappointed he's safe but even though he does have talent he clearly did not pick a song that suits him in "Apologize" by One Republic. He'd better bring more to the table next week other than his pretty face and ass or he should get the boot. But all this Tim Urban ripping because of one bad song choice is ridiculous.

The best contestants take popular songs and make it their own, give a twist their musical style brings something special to that honors and compliments the original. It's a really fine line,as when one mimics a popular performer they face comparisons that often find them lacking or doing an unoriginal copycat... when one tries to do something completely different as Todrick did unsucessfully,it just plays as a total mess.I do love it when contestants can make songs their own...shows that they have the "star presence" that should be the most important attribute towards qualifying as the next American Idol.

Well, two more weeks before things really get down to business with the Top 12.
