The birds, back at home at the end of their day chatting to each other, the chipmunks calling one another home. The scents of the day enfold you as they waft along on the light breeze. You can detect the difference of the hemlock from that of the scrub pine. You breathe in and as you exhale the breath that exits carries away the troubles and cares of the day. You're in your sactuary, you're safe. The events of the day are behind you.
