I'm sitting in Detroit Metro airport right now trying to stuff some water that appears to be forming in my eyes for some reason....

I'll be seeing my son and daughter tonight; I'll be driving my daughter in the homecoming parade for her senior class and a friend of mine sent me this link...he said I was as good of a dad. I am having a hard time believing I could be even close to what this link contains! To me, it is the ultimate love of a father to a son...I'll probably take an extra few minutes to hug both kids tonight and tell them I love them before I head to Florida tomorrow. Take a look at this link:

Awwww WIZ!!!
Have a wonderful time with your kids - sounds like you will!!!
AND YES - tell them you love them. (*8*)
They are VERY fortunate to have a Dad that will tell them that and feels as you do.....
And have a safe trip to Florida -

I just watched the vidio...What can I say

To those who think that there are not Angels on earth, explain this one.

I think it so COOL that this touched your heart, and you appreciate your kids all the more..Have a safe, fun trip...and yes tell your kids how much they mean to you.

Thanks for sharing!!!

Hey, Wiz, sometimes that water-on-the-eyes medical condition is a good thing. ;)

Glad you're getting to see your kids, and that you are held in such high esteem. You deserve it after what you've done and the way you continue to lead your life.

If only everyone had a dad like you!

Hey Tom, I have to agree with everybody else who has posted. From what I know about you, you are probably a wonderful dad.

I hope you have a wonderful visit with your kids.

Thanks for sharing! I got the same medical condition after watching that!

Oh, my. I'm the father of a disabled son who is 26 now. This tore me up. Thanks for telling us about it.

knowing you, there is no way i can't believe that you are as good a man and a father as the one in that story

i'm surprised it took someone that long to tell you!

to say that was poignant would be an understatement.

usually have a strong self control but after the video and the leakage abated, i took a minute to count my family blessings and realize how blessed my family is.

called cross country to my son and told him how much i loved and cared for him and how much he meant to me. didn't realize that it had been a bit of time since i had done so.

i think i want to say thanks for sharing but its still kind of maudlin in my house.

yeah, thanks

I've done marathons...and Ironman Tri's...I've even pushed a disabled person around a fun run myself (and they weren't full grown...and it wasn't easy).

I also am one of those people who tends to get emotional about some "special" athletic achievements...and that pretty well had me blubbering in my coffee.

That is special - very, very special.:=D: :=D: :=D:

For anyone who might be feeling a little low - well, that might help put things in perspective.

Hope you have a great day with your kids...and thanks for the link.(*8*)
