Anna Nicole Smith dies!!!

I feel bad for her daughter. Hopefully she isnt dragged into a nasty custody battle. In a way death is bittersweet for Anna. She's dead but she may gain the immortatlity she always craved. It's very sad because even though she was a drug user, she never appeared nasty or cruel. She wasnt a bitch. Very sad life.

...now the two guys who claim to be the father of her baby are going to be playing tug of war with her. Very sad indeed.:##:

We need the Wisdom Of Solomon now...

Over on Fox they are insinuating that the jewish guy she supposedly married killed her and her son for the money from the billionaire.

Very sad story. She was only 39. But drama followed her everywhere. Now her daughter is going to go through the same thing.

Fox? Fox makes everything out like a soap-opera.

It's a sad loss. I'm sure she'll live on in the years to come.

I really don't understand why anyone is feeling bad? she is dead!! She had it coming with all those drugs she uses! And do not say she was not on drugs because everyone knows a person that is completely sober does not act the way she acted!

Yes, our obssession with celebrity knows no limits that even I was attracted to a thread to see whether or not a woman famous only for being famous was really dead.

One of my best friends lost her mother today. I'll reserve my sadness for her.

Meh. People die all the time. People are born all the time, too. Crazy world.

The death of Anna Nicole Smith should be an eye opener for anyone who cares about people and issues that affect them;

1.Post partum depression
2.Alcohol and substance abuse
3.Predatory media for public consumption
4.Bulimia/Annorexia Nervosa
5.Wills and Trust and 3rd party rights

if her death is just a sensationalized topic of the day then Natalie Merchant in her song "River" sum it all up.

"you vulture scandal, you casual slanderer, you murdered her memory, she's gone, we know its nothing but a tragedy"

Why does she deserve a tribute? She didn't spend her life fighting cancer or poverty or whatever. I mean, come on.

The only thing I feel bad for is her baby girl's wellbeing.

When I heard this I couldn't believe it either.

I was never really a big Anna-Nicole fan but she was always fun to watch because she was just a train wreck waiting to happen....and most of the time when it did happen, it was kinda sad and funny but not funny ha ha but kinda sad funny.

I think there were a variety of factors that lead to her death.

#1 The death of her son. Who was probably the only "real"and constant thing in her life.
#2 The post partum thing with her new daughter and also the paternity and custody battle.
#3 The massive amounts of the many many drugs she was on in her lifetime.
#4 The constant media attention.
#5 The fact that she was always trying to escape(at least in her mind) from what she really was. Which was a scared, insecure, needy, little girl from a middle class town in Texas.

I could go on and on with this list but I won't because after all, she is gone and she deserves at least a little bit of respect.

I feel so bad for her daughter. :(

It is just a given that now that she is gone, there is going to be a huge custody battle and there will be fighting ang bickering for a least a little while over who the father is and so on.

Does anyone really believe that Howard K Stern is the father? (Come on people)
#-o

Just on a little side note..... Does anyone think that Bobby Trendy will be at the funeral?

Anna

This song is for you Anna:

The choice was mine, and mine completely
I could have any prize that I desired
I could burn with the splendor of the brightest fire
Or else, or else I could choose time

Remember I was very young then
And a year was forever and a day
So what use could fifty, sixty, seventy be?
I saw the lights, and I was on my way

And how I lived, how they shone
But how soon the lights were gone

The choice was yours and noone else's
You can cry for a body in despair
Hang your head because she is no longer there
To shine, to dazzle, or betray
How she lived, how she shone
But how soon the lights were gone

Eyes, hair, face, image
All must be preserved
Still life displayed forever
No less than she deserved.

Ever since you posted this, that song has been running through my head... :spank:

So, I finally decided I'd make a video tribute using the song...

My Tribute to Anna Nicole Smith

Lament
(lyrics from "Evita"
by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice)

The choice was mine,
and mine completely.
I could have any prize that I desired.
I could burn with the splendor
of the brightest fire -
Or else, or else I could choose time

Remember I was very young then
And a year was forever and a day.
So what use would fifty, sixty, seventy be?
I saw the lights,
and I was on my way

And how I lived!
How they shone!
But how soon the lights were gone...

Oh, my daughter...
Oh, my son...
Understand what I have done...!

Eyes, hair, face, image,
All must be preserved.
Still-life displayed forever,
No less than she deserved.

i think howard is behind this some way or another. today he was giving an interview and he was crying....but how can you cry without any tears? his crying doesnt look legit to me at all
