Anna Nicole Smith???????????

Before I start my rant I wanna just say that I may be mistaken and that I may not know all the factual information. Having said that, I just wonder why it has taken Anna Nicole Smith 39 days to arrange a funeral for a son whom she declared to love. Ohhhh thats right......she was off having a commitment ceremony with her alleged newborn daughters father...I'm sure it was really beautiful. Meanwhile, her son is still sitting in the morgue. Oh and I forgot, her alleged daughters father was on CNN with Larry King professing his love to Anna and reminding us all that he is the real father.

I just don't buy it.....this woman is living on another planet!!! No son or daughter should have to sit in a morgue while their parents decide it is the right time to have a memorial service and burial. I'm sure there were other people in Daniels life that would have loved to say farewell and pay their respects in a timely and dignified manner.

I just don't get it....Daniels life and memory are not just about Anna....What she did was really disrespectful.

Have you written your congressman or senator to ask them why 60+ young soldiers were killed in Iraq in October in an un-civil war? Have you attended a funeral of a dead soldier in your state to let the family know you share their sorrow and care that their husband or son died in service of your country? Do you personally know Anna Nicole Smith or her family? I would bet the answer to each of the questions is NO. Then why do you care about Anna Nicole and her son? Didn't she set a wonderful example for her son, such as the intoxicated appearances on several awards shows, etc. And hasn't she set a wonderful example of motherly concern after his death? No wonder the kid had drugs in his system.

from my understanding a bit is due to the delay from determining why he died. and the rest.... well, we all grieve over death in our own way. let her do her thing. her son died. it is her business. we really should not judge.

The woman lost her son irregardless of who she is,her son's memory deserves to rest.She deserves to mourn.Leave her alone for now...........may he rest in peace.

I guess I was venting and I guess that I care because it brought back painful memories of a similar situation that I went through when a close friend of mine passed away years ago. Like I said in my thread, I might not know all the details. I just hoped she would have handled herself with more dignity in this situation than she has through most of her adult life. But you all make a good point...everyone grieves in their own way and who am I to judge.

All I know is this is ANNA NICOLE SMITH we are talking about. She is not playing with the full deck, but I do mourn for her for her loss. However, waiting this long after not one but multiple coroner examiners determined the death was drug related is just bizzarre.

Say what you want about Anna Nicole. But she had to sell photos of Daniel because she didn't have the money to bury him and honor his memory the way she would have liked to.
