Anna Nicole Smith's son dies

This is such a tragic story...I can't imagine what she must be going through now, with mourning the loss of her son while she should be celebrating the birth of her daughter...My heart goes out to her!
 
Damn, that's sad, even though she's "Anna..Anna Nicole!," no parent should ever have to go from the joys bringing a child into the world; then only to mourn and bury another quickly thereafter...

I really liked him, he seemed like a kid who really had a level-head on his shoulders, especially considering with what kind of three-ring circus his relationship with his mother could be at times...I do believe he was the rock that held her anchored in reality.

I also found him attractive, and thought he might have a future in Hollywood. Ahh, well...

I never knew she had a son.. Was he from the old man she married?

I can just imagine she is the type who would take something like this very.. very hard. Especially after just giving birth to a baby girl. The emotions... oye..
 
It was reported in the New Your papers that they found traces of an anti depressant in his blood. it's too soon to know exactly what happend but they also said that he'd flown to the bahamas and slept in the same hospital room, sitting in a chair, with his mom. I'm no doctor but I do know that after a seven hour flight you can have some circulation problems in your legs. That coupled with the fact that he slept in a chair for three days could have produced a blood clot that may have killed him. This is just my theory.

That can happen. I knew someone 19 who died of a sudden heart attack. He was at college and laid down under a tree on campus to read a book. He was found dead. There were no drugs, alcohol or any other substances involved. It was determined there was a congenital defect that caused the attack. Anna Nicoles' son could have had something similar. The autopsy will show. It is very sad.
 
i just can't imagine what it would be like to have a new baby and like the day after lose a 20 year old child.

It's been happening with frightening frequency in recent years. Young people dying quickly from some type of sudden heart failure. I know of at least one person who was 19 when he died. None involved drugs or alcohol.

But as far as Anna Nicole Smith goes, my heart goes out to her. I've seen her show and from what I've seen, her and her son had a genuine closeness to their relationship and it's obvious she cherished him. I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through right now.

He seemed a introverted straight-A type kid to me and if the overdose story is true I would've never seen that coming. Unless of course he was truly depressed.

Either way... it's a tragedy. :(
 
To answer your question, no I don't feel sorry for her. I mean c'mon, she's a bit loopy and gets on my nerves, that means she deserves to have her pride and joy taken away from her.
