Hey guys i recently purchased a Antec Skeleton Case, i've been eyeing up some parts for my computer, i've almost completed my list but i am having some trouble over the heatsink, i'm going with a i7 920 processor so its got to be decent heatsink which is ready for the processor.

I orignally wanted a Coolmaster V8 heatsink (not V10 because i'm getting tall RAM), but i'm left with the problem of the size of the heatsink, i've watched videos and it looks very tall, now if you look at a picture of my case you can see it curves around, i am afraid to purchase such an expensive heatsink and for it not to fit.

I've already got the case which i love but i need another processor heatsink option OR for some one to tell me it will fit lol....

Would just like to point out here that when Jimboy purchased the case he paid extra (Other option was free) for 2 day delivery on a bank holiday weekend. Plus the fact he doesn't have anything to put in it :) Sorry Jim, just had to.

After seeing this case  what the heck are you planning to build? Wouldn't a regular heatsink be sufficient?

well Kins123 and corny i'm planning on putting in the motherboard and processor this month when i get paid.

The computer will be a gamming rig and its gonna cost around £1200 once all things are bought but i'll building this over 4 months so its afordable.

soo this month i'm going for...

oh and a regualar heatsink will not cope with the i7 processor, it needs a special one built for the processors tempture.

Kins123, i know you, this is your way of saying, "why don't you ask me i'll get it from my company". you would never recoment PCWorld to anyone.

Almost 52£ for a COOLER?.......

Have you looked at this?: [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-967-Nero-Multiplatform-Cooler/dp/B001NP3RSS/ref=tag_tdp_sv_edpp_i"]Akasa AK-967 Nero Multiplatform CPU Cooler: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]

That looks fine but have you used this one before, i was looking for something that you would recommend, i'm looking for high perfrormance. if you do have this, idel what temp does the processor run at and which processor do you have?

Thx for link, does anyone else know of any other ones, was looking for a high spec one, willing to invest abit more money than that one you linked.
