Advice needed, my partner has zero sex drive and I used to be a bottom, however for the last 6 years we only do oral (it's starting to become a deal breaker!) About 3 years ago the stress of a not quite right relationship (He is a very heavy drinker), new job, new house and being an adult caught up with me. Ever since I feel that my pelvic floor and surrounding muscles have become very tight. After a BM I get pain, burning and weird sensations in my lower back, thighs, bum, perineum and testicles. I'm sure it's caused by a stress response. The doctor checked everything (gloved finger.....) and said all good. I think the key to my issue is to relax my muscles. I really want to bottom again but there is no way i can atm. I have read that butt plugs are amazing for relaxing but a little hesitant...any tips, ideas or suggestions? My doctor is not the kind of doctor I can discuss inserting butt plugs or dicks into my arse about

I was referred to a physical therapist because I suffer from a tight pelvic floor. She's given me some breathing techniques and has me using a crystal wand to help stretch! I was and still am a little embarrassed about the subject but just trying to get better. Perhaps your doctor can refer you to a physical therapist and see what options are available for you. She started me on a crystal wand because she doesn't want me to accidentally hurt myself by shoving up a Dildo up my ass lol

I apologize for missing this thread earlier.

The pain that you're describing- it's association with bowel movements and the number of places that you're experiencing the pain- aren't normal. While I rectal exam will find obvious things, it's not as accurate as an imaging study or a blood test.

You need to return to your doctor and tell him that you're not feeling better. It's time for more testing to eliminate other things that can be possible causes of your pain. And if those tests are negative, then a referral to a physical therapist (for pelvic rehab as mentioned in post #2) or to a specialist like a gastrointestinal specialist or a urologist might be in order.

Thank you for the reply....was the physical therapist private or nhs? I have previously had blood tests, still samples, swabs and ultrasound scans. I do believe it is tension being held in those muscles. Since this area has become tense I no longer suffer with migraines, almost like my body has decides a better place to store stress. I've ordered a butt plug set. Thanks again
