No millésime indications, just the labels in the poll: which one would you recommend and why?

What would be your pairings/matchings of choice?

I am hopeless about any genuine technical response (which is, however, eagerly and almost desperately welcome) so... obviously, feel free to just JUB along as usual

Dom.

The bubbles are tinier and that makes a difference. It also is a perfect balance of dryness and sugars.

Rosé is a dessert bubbly.

^ So "Rosé" means old same "rosé", there is no other confusing implication (*8*)

I think so. I can't think of any other courses where I would serve it...but that doesn't mean there isn't a place for it.

I think we have also served it at a strawberry tea with scones years ago. That either made us Philistines or ??? ( It was Veuve, btw, because the fizz needed to be a bit bigger)

Theoretically it is good with charcuterie and cheese boards...but we've never had a party where this would have been a thing.

Andre. (California "Champagne.") Only about $8/bottle.

$8 is the rough price in the store.

I can remember when it was much less. Ah, the "joys" of inflation.

IMHO this is the one and only Champagne
rare, expensive - simply the best
white, blanc de blancs and rosé.

That is a so called Sparkling Wine - not a Champagne (UU)
That is called cava, which is as much 'sparkling wine' as champagne itself is

But a bottle of champagne can only come from France,
and the best French champagnes are considered the epitome of luxury.

That's right: they are supposed to be the crème de la crème of sparkling wines.

Rather, a bottle of champagne can be produced only in France, and one can only call 'champagne' the French sparkling wine that is not crémant, that is, which follows the méthode traditionnelle or méthode champenoise in the Champagne region.

The French have received much of the credit for inventing bubbly, but according to an Italian historian,
the ancient Romans created sparkling wine long before
monk Dom or that english guy popped the cork the first Champagne Bottle in the 17th century.

"The Romans were the first to have invented the technique of making sparkling wine [spumante in Italian]

by a process of double fermentation, with the addition of must or sweet wine," said Mario Fregoni, professor of viticulture at the University of Piacenza.

I don't think it is a question of who has the oldest, saggier dick, or the longer thicker one, but who possesses the juicier cock of them all.

I don't care what some French Gov agency says. Fizzy white or rose wine is Cham-pag-ne anywhere in the world. Insert SNL skit joke as desired.
