Any Final Destinations fans out there?

I loved all the Final Destination, but I have to say I liked the 3rd the best. I have heard they are still doing a 4th one

Final Destination 4 has already been filmed and is coming out next August. It's in high-definintion 3D. There's actually a lot of buzz about the movie around the industry because it's the first to use this particular 3D technology. It's the same being used by James Cameron for Avatar. That's why they decided to release the movie in the Summer.

The opening disaster, if you're interested, is a crash at a motor speedway that sends debris into the audience. We can probably expect to see a lot of heads being ripped off by flying tires. The movie was written and directed by the same people who did Final Destination 2 who were the ones who really upped the ante in terms of gore, so this one should be interesting.

I'm a huge fan of the series. They're very much guilty pleasure, but I think they're an interesting concept.

Nick Zano's in it. that alone is worth atleast one viewing.

I like them. My favourite is the second. It was the weakest story wise but the death scenes were very good, especially the opening massacre on the motorway.

How the crap can you do a 4th one? I thought the 3rd was the last? How could you possibly link it up? Ugh. Well, I guess I look forward to it then. I loved the first 3!!

Even though I probably WILL go see it, I liken it to those franchises that don't know when to quit (Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc) and continue to beat the dead horse long after any semblance of a carcass has been completely obliterated. I doubt there will be much of a link up beyond the name and the basic storyline of people who should have died and are now stalked by death.

It won't link up. The third one didn't either. The only connection will be through visual references to the other movies. For instance, the motor speedway where the crash happens is called McKinley...which was a major name in the third movie. You can guarantee we'll be seeing the number 180 show up, too.

I like the movies, always fun to watch. And a nice twist on the "teen slasher" genre, with no actual slasher haha

I like the 1st for just being the first one, and Devon Sawa + Kerr Smith
I like the 2nd because it overall had my favorite death scenes in the series so far
And I really liked the 3rd for the ending, that was pretty awesome

In case anyone cares, TNT is airing all three tomorrow night, with FD3 as the television premiere

Which death is your favorite?

The hot guy whose eye gets rammed by the balcony ladder, girl whose airbag impales her, the guy getting sliced by the flying fence, the ladies son whose smashed by the falling glass, the hospital explosion with Ali Larter's character...and the barbecue guy at the end was funny

But I also love the randomness of the girl who gets ran over by the bus & the suspense of the teacher in the 1st movie, haha good stuff

Only with Final Destination would you get those death scene descriptions

Yours?

I think the falling pane of glass is my favorite. You just have to rewind and watch it over again.

I think the nail gun death in the third one was the most brutal.

The first one had the suspense, and that is what I really liked, the other two were just your basic gore flicks. I still liked them, but there are only so many variations on gore before it begins to get mundane.

Yes I really like the movies as well. I watched Final Destination 2 today on TV.

I like them. The cop in the 2nd one was hot, too!
